the biggest, baddest game you can in just 48 hours!

A game jam is an event where you form a team and create a game over the
course of a weekend. We announce a theme at the start of the jam on
Friday evening. Teams create a new original game based on that theme
within the next 48 hours.
As usual, we will provide food at the jam. The game jam is a nonprofit
event, and our goal is to keep it free for everyone! In order to make
this possible, however, we rely on donations from generous attendees and

Q: How much does this event cost?
A: Athens Game Jam is free to enter,
and we will provide free
food as well!
Q: Should I come alone, or bring a team?
A: Whatever you want! Jams are a great way to meet new people, and
coming alone will force you to network! On the other hand, you can use
it as a fun weekend to make something with your best friends!
Q: I'm from out of town. Do I need to pay for an expensive hotel room?
A: Unlike previous years, AGJ's venue will remain open overnight this
year! You need nothing but a laptop and sleeping bag!
Q: Parking?
A: Parking will be free at 225 W Broad St, starting at 5PM on Friday.
Q: What is the theme?
A: The theme will be randomly revealed at 7PM on Friday. Even we don't
know yet!
